We spent the first four days of our trip at a Kountry LoneStar South RV rally in Schulenberg, TX. This rally is held by a Newmar RV club to which we belong. While at the rally, we toured the Painted Churches of Texas. As the pictures show, these churches are beautiful both inside and out. In addition, we were involved in a "trial" that was run by the only Shiek Judge in Texas. Although the Judge found us guilty of having defaced his RV with barn swallow images back in April, we are certain that all who know us would know that we would never stoop so low…or reach so high! While at the rally, we also visited the Shiner Bock Brewery in Shiner, TX.
